A Great Splash for Four-Legged Friends: Dog Swimming at the Waldbad

The dog swimming event will take place again in Günzburg on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Summer is now over, and with it, the outdoor swimming season. In Günzburg, the Waldbad was last open for regular hours on Sunday, September 13, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. But before the water is drained, the pool will be reserved for our four-legged friends for a special afternoon.

On Monday, September 14, the Waldbad will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. exclusively for the traditional dog swimming event. The entire non-swimmer pool will be available for the canine guests to play and have fun. There, the dogs can splash around, run wild, and play with each other to their hearts’ content.

The municipal utilities invite all dog owners to take advantage of this offer. It’s the perfect opportunity to give your faithful companions a special experience and treat them to a fun day to wrap up the season. As in previous years, admission to the Waldbad is free on this day.
